Moldavite Origin

The formation of Moldavite coincides with the fall of an immense meteorite on what is now known as the Czech Republic's plateau in Bohemia, approximately 14.8 million years ago. The force of the impact explosion has been estimated at 6 trillion megatons, far more than all the atomic bombs on Earth. Moldavite is one of the oldest minerals used as a talisman, being appreciated for thousands of years due to its powerful spiritual and healing energies at all levels.
